The Department for Economic Affairs bases its work on the projects of economic cooperation promotion between the homeland and diaspora. For better goal achievements, we are going to work on constant cooperation development with all significant Serbian institutions, facilitating foreign investments, establishing the Economic Council to include experts both from the homeland and diaaspora, as well as opening the diaspora offices within Regional Chambers of Commerce. |
The task of the Department for Status Issues of the Diaspora is to monitor and analyze the position of the status rights of the diaspora and to coordinate the activities with the Republic authorities in charge of acknowledging and exercising these rights, particularly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and other institutions. During the process of exercising the status rights, the Ministry will provide expert assistance in responding to individual requests of citizens from diaspora. |
The Department works on the promotion of achievements in the area of culture, education and sports. Moreover, it deals with the preservation of Serbian language and education, with the goal of creating a positive image about Serbia and our people in diaspora. To achieve these goals, we are going to cooperate with other ministries such as the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Youth and Sports as well as other institutions. |
We give special attention to Public Relations. In the effort to be approachable and amiable, we utilize new technologies which make communication easier, but without disregarding the old ones. |
